D. Wayne — is the founder and lead author of D. Wayne Publishing. His work is rooted in the communities he grew up in, the people he knows, and the truths that most stories are afraid to tell.

His debut novel, Jasmine, introduced readers to a voice that was raw, honest, and deeply human. Since then, he has continued to build a catalog that speaks directly to the lived experiences of real people — their love, their faith, their failures, and their fight to keep going.

D. Wayne believes that fiction is one of the most powerful tools for empathy and change. His writing doesn't offer easy answers — it asks hard questions and trusts the reader to sit with them..

When he's not writing, D. Wayne is actively engaged in his community — speaking at events, mentoring aspiring authors, and advocating for stories that reflect the full spectrum of Black American life.
